ABOUT THE COFFEE
This beautiful decaf delivers a balanced and expressive cup, with berry-like fruit notes and dried fruit, vanilla sweetness, cocoa undertones, and a gentle nutty character. A touch of citrus and soft spice lifts a sweet, clean cup with a smooth mouthfeel and rounded finish. This coffee is double-fermented with pulp using a custom Paraíso Red Fruit culture, then thermal-shock processed, carefully dried, and naturally decaffeinated via the Sugar Cane method to preserve sweetness and clarity.
ABOUT THE FARM
Led by Alex, Daniel, and Diego Bermúdez, El Paraíso applies a scientific yet careful approach to fermentation, always with the goal of respecting the coffee’s natural character, even after decaffeination. In 2015, Finca El Paraiso won first place in a regional coffee competition, launching them into the specialty coffee world. Their success inspired them to keep innovating in coffee processing, and today they continue to deliver exceptional, sustainable coffee that has disrupted the world of specialty coffee.
