Finca “La Herencia” is located in El Rosario, a small community in the region of Ocotepeque, Honduras.
Merlin Ramirez and his family are very concerned with the conservation of natural resources. They implemented careful crop maintenance practices including the application of 100% organic inputs and the reuse of all organic waste from the processing of coffee cherries. In order to carry out the maintenance and harvesting activities, the family hires community labor, providing work to more than 20 families who also depend on coffee.
