Our Mogiana Eagle decaf is a medium roasted blend with tasting notes of cocoa, raisin, and caramel. We use this decaf coffee as our house decaf espresso, but it is versatile enough to use your favourite coffee brewing method.
Mogiana Eagle is blend made from top lots produced in the Alta Mogiana region of Brazil. The Mogiana region, which runs along the Sao Paulo and Minas Gerias border, is home to some of the most consistently sweet and well-structured natural processed coffees produced in Brazil. The lots are hand selected from individual farms and processed to create a smooth, clean, highly consistent blend. Our goal with this coffee is to have a consistent profile from lot to lot, and year to year, making our Mogiana Eagle a coffee that you can rely on year round.
The Swiss Water® Process uses pure green coffee extract and proprietary carbon technology to remove caffeine from green coffee beans. Swiss Water® has specified the pore size of the carbon to match the caffeine molecule to ensure only the caffeine is trapped when the caffeine is captured from the green coffee extract. The Swiss Water® Process is certified organic and 100% chemical free. In addition, they are also certified Kosher by the Kosher Overseers Association.
