Limmu Kossa is a specific area in Djimmah, where Limu coffee grows, and the coffee is winey, elegant, and light. At Akmel Nuri’s farm, coffee cherries are handpicked, and then immediately sorted on the nearby raised beds. They focus on farming, picking, sorting, drying, keeping the natural forest intact, not interacting and scaring off wild animals, and managing the microclimate, soil, and self-made organic fertilizers.

Akmel’s farm is 200 hectares in total. About half of this is still wild uncultivated forest so thick that you cannot even walk in there. Here the wild animals, insects, trees and plants live as they always have, without any interference from humans.
